The Hikvision DS-2CD2455FWD-IW is a 6MP indoor cube camera with a 2.8mm fixed lens. Its ideal for use in the house or office and is extremely easy to setup, requiring only a 12VDC power supply or POE (Power over Ethernet) cable. It also has built in WiFi with a range of 50 metres. Accessing your Live video can be done remotely through the Hik-Connect iOS and android app for smart devices, or via a web browser. A built in bracket allows easy installation on the ceiling or wall, or it can be used as a stand.

The camera comes with some advanced Hikvision technology often only seen in more expensive IP cameras, such as Line crossing and Intrusion detection, and EXIR infrared LED’s - that permit crystal clear night vision viewing with a range of 10 metres. The camera is aided in detecting when someone is in the room thanks to onboard PIR technology - or passive infrared.

This camera produces high resolution 6MP images, which are enhanced even further with Wide Dynamic Range, Backlight Compensation and 3D Digital Noise Reduction - delivering exceptional image quality. A popular feature is the built in speaker and mic, allowing two-way audio, meaning you can speak and listen through the camera without the need for any external accessories.

The camera also features an SD/Micro SD card slot for on board storage which can be fully utilised thanks to highly efficient H.265+ video compression, maximising every byte of available storage space.
