The Dahua PFW8601A180 is a 2 megapixel, multi-sensor panoramic security camera that merges three high-quality cameras into one. It offers unparalleled 180-degree views as well as 30-metres night vision range, highly efficient H.265+ encoding technology, face detection and tripwire ability and starlight technology for excellent low-light performance. It's durable IK10 vandal-resistant and IP67 weatherproof construction make it suitable for outdoor use.

Overview
As a multi-sensor camera with 3 seperate 2 megapixel sensors, this camera is excellent for wide area video surveillance, with the ability to monitor a full 180-degrees. It’s innovative features include backlight compensation, auto white balance, resolution control, 3DDNR noise reduction, Region of Interest ROI, H265+ video compression and Smart Infrared. Even under the most challenging lighting conditions this camera can produce crystal-clear images.

Plug and Play Power Over Ethernet POE
No need for power sockets for each camera. Both power and video transmission are provided through one single ethernet cable from NVR to camera, ensuring fast and easy installation.

True Day/Night
Equipped with a day/night mechanical IR cut filter, this camera is ideal for applications with fluctuating lighting conditions, delivering colour images during the day and automatically switching to monochrome as the scene darkens.

Starlight Technology
Featured with Dahua Starlight Technology, the camera is ideal for applications with challenging light conditions. Its low light performance delivers usable video with minimal ambient light. Even in extreme low light conditions, Starlight Technology is capable of delivering colour images in near complete darkness.

Wide Dynamic Range
This camera is equipped with industry leading wide dynamic range (WDR) technology, which produces vivid pictures even in the most intensely contrasted lighting conditions. It’s ideal for applications where lighting conditions can change quickly. True WDR (120dB) optimises both the bright and dark areas of a scene at the same time to provide usable video.

Smart H.265+
Delivering high quality video without straining the network, Smart H.265+ is the optimised implementation of H.265 video compression. The Smart H.265+ encoding technology includes a scene adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structure and intelligent noise reduction, providing savings of up to 70% of bandwidth and storage when compared with standard H.265.

Intelligent Video System (IVS)
With built-in intelligent video analytics this camera has the ability to detect and analyse moving objects for enhanced video surveillance. It has the ability to detect multiple object behaviours, including object removal, and also supports Tripwire analytics, allowing the camera to detect when a pre-determined line has been crossed, ideal for business surveillance. IVS also supports heat map, which is designed to help measure crowd density in a particular space by colour codes.

Smart IR
Works to compensate for infrared over-exposure or whitening out, which can be produced when an object gets too close to the camera at night. The camera’s integrated infrared provides high performance illumination in total darkness to a range of 30 metres.

Protection (IP67, IK10, wide voltage, wide temperature)
Supporting ±25% input voltage tolerance, this camera suits even the most unstable conditions for outdoor applications. Its 4KV lightning rating provides protection against the camera and its structure from the effects of lightning. The camera can operate in temperature environments of -30 °C to +60 °C. An ingress protection rating of IP67 certifies the camera is suitable for extreme weather conditions and is sealed from water and dust. IK10 vandal resistant ratings means the camera can withstand the equivalence of 55Kg of force.
