The Dahua IPC-HDBW4831E-ASE is a fixed lens dome camera with advanced features suitable for home or business surveillance. The camera offers exceptional high resolution 4K Ultra HD images, excellent night time infrared range of 30 metres, image optimisation technology and highly efficient video encoding for maximised bandwidth and storage - protected by a vandal-proof IK10 and weatherproof IP67 construction. Smart detections such as tripwire, intrusion and face detection assist in alerting of events in real-time. The camera supports alerts to your smartphone via the DMSS app for iOS and Android, and the ability to monitor your cameras in real time.

Overview
With upgraded H.265+ encoding technology, the Dahua Eco-savvy series brings highly efficient video compression capability saving bandwidth and storage. This camera comes with smart IR technology and intelligent image analysis. IP67 ensures full protection from extreme weather conditions and its IK10 certification ensures comprehensive vandal resistance protection.

ePoE Technology
ePoE technology uses advanced modulation to transmit video, data, and power up to 800m (2624 ft) at 10 Mbps, via a single CAT5E cable, between an IP camera and a PoE switch or NVR. The standard POE distance is only 100 metres. ePoE systems require less devices, use cheaper Ethernet cabling (as compared to fibre), and takes advantage of existing infrastructure saving installation cost and time. Using only one Ethernet cable to span 800 m (2624  ft) without the need for extra switches saves about 182.5 kWh per year.

Wide Dynamic Range
This camera is equipped with industry leading wide dynamic range (WDR) technology, which produces vivid pictures even in the most intensely contrasted lighting conditions. It’s ideal for applications where lighting conditions can change quickly. True WDR (120dB) optimises both the bright and dark areas of a scene at the same time to provide usable video.

Intelligent Video System (IVS) 
IVS is a built-in video analytic algorithm that delivers intelligent functions to monitor a scene for tripwire violations, intrusion detection, and abandoned or missing objects. A camera with IVS quickly and accurately responds to events it’s monitoring in a specific area. In addition to scene analytics, the camera supports face detection to quickly capture a face and upload the image to a server for identification. The camera also offers tamper detection by recognising dramatic scene changes and generates a warning message to inspect the camera.

Smart H.265+
Delivering high quality video without straining the network, Smart H.265+ is the optimised implementation of H.265 video compression. The Smart H.265+ encoding technology includes a scene adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structure and intelligent noise reduction, providing savings of up to 70% of bandwidth and storage when compared with standard H.265.

Smart IR
Works to compensate for infrared over-exposure or whitening out, which can be produced when an object gets too close to the camera at night. The camera’s integrated infrared provides high performance illumination in total darkness to a range of 30 metres.

Protection (IP67, IK10, wide voltage, wide temperature)
Supporting ±30% input voltage tolerance, this camera suits even the most unstable conditions for outdoor applications. Its 6KV lightning rating provides protection against the camera and its structure from the effects of lightning. The camera can operate in temperature environments of -30°C to +60°C. An ingress protection rating of IP67 certifies the camera is suitable for extreme weather conditions and is sealed from water and dust. IK10 vandal resistant ratings means the camera can withstand the equivalence of 55Kg of force.

You always have full access to your camera no matter where you are through software for PC and mac, and the integrated app for smartphone and tablet, which allows Live monitoring, the ability to control certain features of your camera as well as playback, setting alarms and smart detections.
